Graphic Design and Website Design (2021)

A company specalising in commercial kitchen installations in Essex. I designed the logo and branding along with the website. This site was built in Wordpress using ACF so they can easily maintain all aspects of the website.

Website built for freelance music composor based in Wiltshire. This site is built in Wordpress using ACF so it can be easily maintained. I also coded an audio player using Soundcloud's API.

IconVulture

Icon Vulture (2018)

IconVulture is a website I set up around 2018 (now abandoned), as an idea to learn some WordPress and practice a few javacript and HTML5 bits and pieces. Like localStorage, DOM mutations, taking an array and being able to create a zip file to download. I was able to take the stuff I learnt from this and implement it elsehwere.

I hate talking about myself...

I started learning to code websites when I was still at school, mainly for my friends bands, using GeoCities, FrontPage Express and using tables not divs.

I have a BA in Digital Media Art from Bath University. Whilst studying, I got my first job in website design, working for a company called Active Robots in Somerset, who sell robotics online. Taking photos/videos of products, editing these and adding them to the website. This was in the days before any sort of content management system, so it was all a manual process with HTML.

I spent the next several years doing Marketing & Design for a local double glazing company, producing adverts for newspapers, brochures etc. and I also did a bit of freelance work in web design on the side.

I am currently working full time for a large company here in the UK, where I have been since 2013, doing website design for customers up and down the UK as part of a small team.

When I'm not taking care of my kids, in my spare time I enjoy playing music, going to gigs and seeing friends.
